Hello, I’m Rebecca, founder of Clarity Yoga.
Yoga began as a personal search for balance and, over the past decade, has become a way of living as much as a practice on the mat. I’m qualified to teach a range of yoga styles and share practices inspired by the Yoga Sutras, encouraging awareness, acceptance and balance
Like many people, I first came to yoga for the physical benefits. After years working in a high-pressure industry, I realised how disconnected I had become from my body and how easy it is to move through life on autopilot — rushing between work, family and commitments without really noticing how we feel.
Yoga started simply as a way to stretch alongside running, but I soon discovered it offered much more. It opened the door to a rich philosophy and a deeper understanding of awareness, balance and how we live.
Since then, yoga has become a lifelong journey and a question I continue to explore: what is yoga to me? I believe the answer is different for everyone, and that physical postures (asana) are just one part of a much wider practice.
As my own practice and understanding have evolved, so has the way I teach. I focus on adapting yoga so it can be accessible and meaningful for different bodies, needs and experiences.
I now share a range of styles including vinyasa, chair, restorative, power, weights-based and children’s yoga, alongside other adapted approaches — with the intention of helping people find a practice that works for them.

Please reach us at clarity.breathe@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
You are welcome to bring your own Yoga mat however, we are happy to supply equipment for the class if required, just let us know in advance.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement, such as leggings or athletic shorts and a tank top or t-shirt.
Class etiquette is important. We ask you to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure you are set-up in time to start. We also ask you to leave your shoes and phones at the door when you come in. If for any reason you cannot do this please discuss the circumstances with the instructor before the class begins.
The short answer is "possibly". It very much depends on the severity of the injury, if you are aware of how this effects your movement, if you have been cleared by a medical professional and if you are aware of alterations you can make to your own practice. Please discuss any injuries or medical concerns you have with the instructor before the class begins.
We do offer physical adjustments to help with alignments, which are very light, but will always ask if this is okay before we proceed.
